Christiana Care Patients Can Now Access Medical Records on iPhones


Christiana Care Health System patients can now access their medical records through their iPhones, as the organization becomes the first Delaware health system to partner with Apple.

According to a Delaware Online article, Christiana Care Health System, the state's largest hospital system, announced on Monday, February 25, 2019 that through the iPhone's Health Records feature, a part of the Health app, patients can have their medical information organized in one place. This includes data such as lab results, medications and procedures. They will also receive notifications when their records are updated. 

Dr. Edmondo Robinson, senior vice president for consumerism at Christiana Care, said in a release that the access to Health Records is a "catalyst for important conversations between patients and health care providers." Read more.
