Multi-State, Multi-Specialty Health Group Relies on Quality Insights for Attestation Support

Western PA Physicians of WMC Physician Practices, LLC has been working with Quality Insights on various projects since the spring of 2015. It is a large multi-specialty group with many physicians and mid-level providers in multiple locations across West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Not only can being a multi-state organization pose some interesting quality improvement reporting challenges, but there are several different electronic health record (EHR) systems in use within this healthcare organization which also adds to the complexity.
A combination of Medicare and Medicaid Meaningful Use (MU) attesting has been done so far as well as PQRS reporting. According to Bernice Pitcock, RN, Quality Assurance Coordinator, “We value the knowledge and expertise offered by our Quality Insights Practice Transformation Specialist to be successful and now prepare for the Quality Payment Program MIPS selections. Information and questions are always answered quickly and in easy-to-understand language. We value our monthly conversations and the regular e-newsletters, which we share with applicable providers within our network.” Pitcock went on to say that, “Working with Quality Insights has helped our organization be successful in achieving incentive payments.  We look forward to continued support with the MIPS program this year.”
