Administrator Shares Her Vision at the 2019 CMS Quality Conference

This week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) hosted its annual CMS Quality Conference. This premier learning and action event brings together nearly 3,300 attendees to explore how patients, advocates, providers, researchers, and leaders in healthcare quality improvement can develop and spread solutions to some of America’s most pervasive health system challenges.
CMS Administrator Seema Verma welcomed attendees of the conference and shared her vision on issues surrounding healthcare, hospital acquired conditions data, value-based care and burden reduction. CMS' online newsroom has released the Administrator's remarks.

Additionally, Verma released results of the three-year update on the hospital acquired conditions analysis conducted by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
