Your Health. Your Care.

Your health is your greatest asset. The best way to stay healthy is to take an active role in your health and healthcare. This includes asking your doctor about preventive care covered by Medicare, such as immunizations, tests and screenings.  And when you are sick, the best way to get better is to take an active role in your treatment. Ask questions, get information and fully participate in decision making with your family and healthcare team.

As a Quality Innovation Network, Quality Insights collaborates with healthcare providers and patients to make care better. We offer opportunities for you – the patient – to participate in our projects. Your voice and your opinion count. One way that you can get involved is by becoming a patient advisor. Also, check out the resource library below to access tools to help you manage your own health and care.

If you have a healthcare quality of care concern or are not satisfied with the quality of care you received, contact your state’s Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO). The BFCC-QIOs manage all Medicare patient complaints and quality of care reviews, appeals and other types of case reviews. Following are the organizations and the states they serve:

  • Complaints or concerns about healthcare facilities in Delaware, Louisiana and West Virginia should be directed to KEPRO
  • Complaints or concerns about healthcare facilities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania should be directed to Livanta
